Hey Reader, In Day 24 of Threads, we’re reminded of one of the most beautiful and comforting images of Jesus — our Good Shepherd. In John 10:11–14, Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” These words reveal the heart of a Savior who doesn’t simply watch over His flock from a distance, but who steps into our lives with tenderness, guidance, and sacrifice. This moment in Scripture connects all the way back to David, the shepherd-king who penned Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” It also fulfills God’s promise through the prophet Ezekiel that He Himself would one day shepherd His people. And through Jesus, that promise became personal. Unlike false shepherds who scatter when things get hard, Jesus moves closer. He protects, provides, and pursues. He knows every path we walk, every burden we carry, and every fear that lingers quietly in our hearts. His leadership is not distant, it’s devoted. His love is not conditional, it’s sacrificial. If life feels uncertain right now, take comfort in this: you are not wandering alone. The Good Shepherd walks beside you, leading you with both strength and gentleness. Even when you can’t see the path ahead, His voice still calls you forward, one step at a time. I’d love to hear what this truth means to you today. Join the conversation over on the YouTube community post and share how the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd is speaking to your heart this week. P.S. If you’re new here, or maybe you fell behind, just know that God is always on time. Today is a great day to dive back into His Word. P.S.S. Hey Reader, Welcome to Week 2 of our Who Would Imagine a King Devotional Series. I pray last week's reading helped you see Jesus’ kingship with fresh eyes: His lineage, His authority, and the power of His arrival through Judah. Today, we’re going deeper. If Week 1 showed us who Jesus is, today reveals how His kingship changes everything. In Scripture, the rise or fall of a nation wasn’t determined by politics or power, it was determined by worship. And just like the kings of old, our lives...
