RE: God, where are you??

Hey Reader,

Have you ever been in a situation that made you wonder where God was in all of it? Sometimes it feels like no matter how well we treat others, how much we walk in integrity, or how often we pray, there is a resistance or opposition that comes against us.

The Bible says that believers are destined for troubles, but it also says that God is faithful to rescue us from them all. The key is to stand in faith by holding on to what is good and turning away from evil. I’m talking about maintaining a heart posture of joy and thanksgiving.

Trust me, I understand that this is easier said than done, but that’s why we’re doing the Thessalonians Weekly challenge. God is going to unlock a new level of strength and resilience in the body of Christ, and I really want you to be a part of this.

Here’s everything you need to know about the challenge:

  • Teachings are on YouTube each Tuesday at 7 AM EST, March 10th through May 5th
  • The main theme for this challenge is a call to perseverance, holiness, and hope in God
  • The challenge includes live and pre-recorded videos, and live dates will be announced
  • Joining is FREE, and you’ll learn how to find strength and peace through every situation

And if you want to get even more out of the teachings, I put together an interactive study guide for the challenge that includes daily overviews, reflection prompts, and practical application tools. Grab the Standing Tall Thessalonians Study Guide now for only $9.99!

The guide isn’t mandatory for joining the challenge–I simply wanted to give you a resource to add focus and intentionality to your study, and something you can always return to.

I’ll see you next Tuesday, March 10th, at 7 AM EST for day one!

With you on your journey,

Reader, I’m sending you this email to let you know that everything is working together for your good–and yes, even that... How amazing it is that we serve a God so good and faithful, who’s able to make everything we go through fit into His plan and purpose for our lives?! I know it’s not always easy to remember this when you’re going through, but that’s why we’re doing the weekly Thessalonians challenge. In the scriptures, Apostle Paul gives us a framework for standing firm in our faith, no...

Hey Reader, I want to share a bit of hard truth with you: spiritual growth begins with awareness. There are a lot of people who think that walking with God will automatically make life easier, but Christians are not exempt from life challenges. But the good news is that peace and joy begin with our heart posture, not our circumstances. So, no matter what we go through, God is faithful to give us rest if we trust in Him. If you need help learning how to patiently endure under trial, we’re...

Reader, Have you ever been in the middle of a trial and wondered why the Lord was allowing everything to go wrong, even when you’ve been doing your best to honor Him? Then, when you try and talk to your friends or family about the situation, they say things like… Keep trusting in God…Joy comes in the morning...Don’t become weary in well doing… If you’ve ever experienced this, you’re not alone. That’s why we’re taking a few weeks to study Thessalonians, because the Apostle Paul teaches us how...
